With dizzying acrobatic choreography, magic tricks and swinging hips, the character cats compete for the favor of their wise leader, Old Deuteronomy the cat. He will choose the one cat who will be allowed to experience the miracle of rebirth. One by one, the velvet paws introduce themselves. And when the outcast, ageing diva Grizabella dares to come forward and sings of happier days, it is as quiet as a mouse: with “Memory”, she gives the audience one of the greatest moments in musical history.
After 20 years, CATS can finally be experienced again in Düsseldorf, for the first time in the celebrated original English production, and in a “limited run”: from April 9 to June 7, 2025, the most famous cats in the world will conquer the stage of the Capitol Theater and prove once again that the masterpiece is able to enchant its audience more than ever!
